How to Use
Using the product couldn’t be easier – just pour it directly into the fuel tank. It starts working from the very first miles, cleaning the injectors and fuel system as you drive.
If you’ve previously used low-quality additives, it’s recommended to change the fuel filter before the first use of TEC 2000. This ensures maximum effectiveness and prevents blockages from dissolved deposits.
For long-term protection and injector efficiency, it’s best to use the product twice a year – ideally in summer and autumn, when temperature changes and fuel quality most affect engine performance.
TEC 2000 Diesel System Cleaner is powerful yet safe – the engine can even run on the cleaner itself, though its intended use is as a fuel additive. - Pour 1 can (375 ml) into about 25 liters of fuel (reserve tank level). This creates a stronger cleaning concentration.

Can a diesel fuel additive clog the fuel filter?
No. Diesel System Cleaner is far stronger than typical additives on the market and dissolves deposits inside the fuel tank. It is recommended to replace the fuel filter after using the product and to follow the manufacturer’s service guidelines – usually every 60,000 km.
Can this product be added to a petrol engine?
No. This formula is designed exclusively for diesel engines running on diesel fuel. It is not suitable for gasoline engines.
It can be safely poured into any diesel tank, where it cleans the injectors and the entire fuel system. If a more intensive injector-only cleaning is needed (e.g. outside the tank), TEC 2000 Diesel Injector Cleaner is the better choice, as it was developed specifically for that purpose.
Does the diesel additive contain sulfur or chlorine compounds?
No. The formula is based on safe organic solvents and detergents, as confirmed by MOT test results.
Is the product compatible with AdBlue systems?
Yes. It does not react with SCR systems, as proven by testing on Euro 6 vehicles.
How much additive should be added to a full tank?
The cleaner works in all types of diesel engines – both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Does it damage the DPF or EGR?
No. It actually helps reduce soot in the exhaust, lowering the load on the diesel particulate filter, and also cleans the EGR valve.
Can it be combined with other fuel additives?
Yes, but it’s best to leave a gap of 1–2 refuelings between different products.
When can improvements in engine performance be noticed?
Initial effects, such as reduced smoke and smoother starting, appear after driving 50–100 km. Full effectiveness is achieved once the entire tank has been used.
Are fuel enhancers harmful to catalytic converters?
Properly formulated products (like TEC 2000) do not harm catalytic converters, provided the recommended doses are followed.
