Dave: the customer who said his oil wasn't changed

In this 40-second clip, recorded at Banstead Road Garage by TEC 2000 on 6 November 2025, Dave tells the story of a customer who came in after a service and accused the garage of not changing his oil, or of forgetting to change it.

Dave got his phone out and showed him the CCTV video that the oil had indeed been changed, then went out and checked the engine oil. It was so clean that the customer had just assumed it hadn't been changed. Dave says he can only really put that down to the TEC 2000 product flushing the contaminants out of the engine and making it a lot cleaner from the inside, which you can't see.

Dave: We had one customer come in after a service and accuse us of not changing his oil or forgetting to change his oil. So I produced my phone to get the CCTV out, and then when I showed him the video that we did indeed change the oil, I went out and checked the guy's engine oil and the oil was so clean he just assumed that it hadn't have been changed.

Dave: So I can only really put that down to the TEC 2000 product flushing all the contaminants out of the engine and making the engine a lot cleaner from the inside, which you can't see.
